Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, announced good news for citizens and low-income groups after announcing the approval of the Board of Directors of the New Urban Communities Authority to allocate a plot of land with an area of ​​22 thousand square meters to the Ministry of Health in the West Airport area in New October City to establish a central hospital with a capacity of 300 beds.

 

In a related context, Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Maksoud, Chairman of the New October City Authority, followed up on the executive status of housing and services projects in the city, directing the relevant departments and supervisory bodies to conduct periodic field follow-ups to remove all obstacles and make efforts to ensure that the projects come out in an honorable manner.

 

Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Maksoud explained that the cost of the service buildings implemented and currently being implemented in the city amounted to 1.2 billion pounds, noting that these buildings include schools, nurseries, health units, commercial markets, sports fields and youth centers, stressing the continuation of efforts to provide services in various areas of the city.

 

Housing for All Egyptians

 

In the same context, Eng. Mahmoud Murad, Vice President of the Authority, and officials of the Authority, conducted an inspection tour of the sites of the presidential initiative projects "Housing for All Egyptians", the low-income axis in the West Airport area, as well as service building projects to follow up on the implementation status and emphasize to the supervising authorities and implementing companies the necessity of adhering to the technical standards and timetables for the projects. The negligent companies were also warned of the necessity of adhering to the approved timetables for the projects.

 

Implementation of 15 schools to serve the residents of New October

The Vice President of the New October City Authority explained that the implementation of 15 schools has been completed, and 5 more schools are being implemented, bringing the total number of schools to 20 schools at a cost of 600 million pounds. The implementation of 2 youth centers has also been completed, and a youth center and a social club are being implemented.

 

The Deputy Chairman of the Authority said that 15 nurseries, 14 health units, 5 sports fields, 27 commercial markets, and a police complex are being implemented, and work will be done to ensure that the services keep pace with the number of units that have been and are being implemented in the city, which amounts to about 140,000 housing units.
