Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, announced the opening of reservations for citizens with disabilities wishing to reserve a housing unit within the announcement of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 5” tomorrow, Monday, November 18, 2024.

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny added that the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund has allocated a full week for citizens with disabilities only, until Monday, November 25, 2024, with the possibility of them continuing to apply during the period from Tuesday, November 26, 2024 until Tuesday, December 24, 2024, which is allocated to various citizens, including people with disabilities.

 

The Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities indicated that the fund has allocated 5% of the total units offered within the new announcement of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” for citizens with disabilities, within the framework of the state’s vision to improve the quality of life for citizens with disabilities and provide them with care and support.

 

The CEO of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Fund indicated that the allocation for citizens with disabilities will be made according to the number of available units, and this allocation includes the entity of a single family represented by (the applicant - wife/husband - minor children), provided that the conditions apply to them and the medical documents indicating the degree of disability are submitted, a disability proof card and integrated services for persons with disabilities, provided that they are valid during the year 2024.

 

Ms. Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Fund, confirmed that the new announcement includes 78,730 housing units, divided into 40,607 housing units under construction with an area of ​​​​90 meters, 1,175 housing units with an area of ​​​​75 meters under construction, 11,920 housing units with an area of ​​​​90 meters ready for immediate delivery, and 1,070 housing units with an area of ​​​​75 meters ready for immediate delivery, at the level of new cities, while at the governorate level, the new announcement includes 608 ready housing units with an area of ​​​​75 meters, and 23,350 housing units ready for immediate delivery With an area of ​​90 meters.

 

She announced that for low-income citizens wishing to apply for a housing unit within the new offering, the minimum net monthly income for the applicant to deal with the real estate financing system has become 3,500 pounds.

 

The CEO of the Social Housing Fund and Real Estate Finance Support stressed the necessity that the net monthly/annual income from various sources of income for the applicant from low-income citizens should not exceed 15 thousand pounds per month, or 180 thousand pounds annually, for the family, and 12 thousand pounds per month, or 144 thousand pounds annually for the individual.

 

She added that for middle-income citizens wishing to apply for a housing unit within the new announcement, the minimum net monthly income for the applicant to deal with the real estate financing system is 12 thousand pounds.

 

The CEO of the Social Housing Fund and Real Estate Finance Support explained that the net monthly/annual income from various sources of income for the applicant from middle-income citizens should not exceed 25 thousand pounds per month, or 300 thousand pounds annually for the family, and 20 thousand pounds per month, or 240 thousand pounds annually for the individual.
