The Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities announced the date of the public draw among applicants for housing units and small plots of land "Masakin" in new cities.
Date of the draw for Sakan Misr and Dar Misr
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, said that a manual public draw will be conducted to allocate housing units that were applied for during the period from 10/27/2024 to 12/26/2024, as well as small residential plots of land "Masakin", which were applied for during the period from 11/7/2024 to 1/6/2025, starting from 2/8/2025 to 2/26/2025, on specific days.
The Minister of Housing stressed the need for good organization of the draw events during the different days, praising the role of the Real Estate and Commercial Affairs Sector at the New Urban Communities Authority in quickly completing the sorting of applications of applicants for lands and units within the “Masakin” program, and quickly setting the timetable for the draw to enable the applicants to complete the remaining procedures. Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagy, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, explained that the public draw will be held at the covered hall of Cairo International Stadium, Hall No. 1, for the Sakan Misr units in New Cairo City, medium-sized lands in New Thebes City, and distinguished lands in New Fayoum City, on 2/8/2025, and the Sakan Misr and Dar Misr units and medium-sized plots of land in October Gardens City, and the Sakan Misr units in New October City, and the Sakan Misr units and the most distinguished housing lands in Shorouk City, on 2/9/2025, and the Sakan Misr units in New Alamein City, and the Sakan Misr and Janna units and distinguished housing in New Damietta City, on 10
The Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs indicated that the public draw will be held for applicants for the Sakan Misr units and medium-sized plots of land in the cities of New Minya and New West Qena, on 2/11/2025, and the distinguished plots of land in the cities of Tenth of Ramadan and New Aswan, and the medium-sized plots in the city of Badr, on 2/16/2025, Dar Misr units in Tenth of Ramadan City, distinguished housing units in Badr City, and medium lands in New Assiut City, on 2/17/2025.
Dr. Hassan El Shorbagy added that the public draw will be held for Rawdat El Obour units and the most distinguished housing lands in Obour City, distinguished housing units in New Mansoura City, on 2/18/2025, Masakin Misr units and distinguished lands in West Assiut City "New Nasser", distinguished lands in the cities of: New Qena, New Sohag, New Akhmim, New Mallawi, and medium lands in New Beni Suef City, on 2/19/2025, distinguished lands in Sadat City, on 2/20/2025, and medium lands in New Borg El Arab City, on 2/26/2025.
He added that the public draw for the most distinguished Ganna units and housing lands in 6th of October City will be held on 2/24/2025, at the Cairo International Stadium (the main stadium), as well as the Ganna units in New Cairo City, on 2/25/2025.
"Al-Shorbagy" noted that the draw will be held at exactly 10:00 am on the specified days, and only those who wish to attend the public draw will be allowed to do so, provided that they have paid the reservation deposit, noting that the draw events will be broadcast live on the website of the New Urban Communities Authority, and those who violate the reservation conditions booklet and who do not meet the controls will be excluded from entering this draw.
