Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, issued decisions to remove encroachments and building violations in a number of new cities, including (New Mallawi - New Damietta - New Borg El Arab), as part of continuing to remove random phenomena and stop random urban growth.
The decisions stipulated that building violations established in plot No. (11/11) in the first phase of the coastal district, building violations in plot No. (1/A) in the city, and established north of neighborhood 13 - the third district, and in plot No. (13/11) in the first phase of the coastal district, and building violations established on plot No. (2/A) clubs north of the second district in New Damietta City, be removed without a license in some cases and in violation of licenses in other cases.
The decisions also stipulated that encroachments on plots of land owned by the New Urban Communities Authority, within the cordon of New Mallawi City with an area of 11.18 acres, an area of 66.49 acres, an area of 10.49 acres, 21.57 acres, an area of 89.10 acres, and an area of 6.06 acres, be removed without legal basis.
The decisions also stipulated the removal of encroachments on plots of land owned by the New Urban Communities Authority, in the green belt of New Borg El Arab City, numbering (17) cases.
The decisions included that the city agencies in which the removal decisions were issued shall implement what is stated in the decisions with the assistance of the construction police.
